LifeKen was born as a dream of two promoters - Mr M.C.Kini and Mr. A. Suryanarayanan. Considerable effort and detailed research went into studying the opportunity. A model pharmacy was set up and went into operation in January 2004 at Bangalore.
The concept won funding from investors in January 2005 and Lifetime Healthcare Private Limited and the LifeKen brand were incorporated on 1st April 2005. LifeKen has grown rapidly and now operates in total 82 Stores in Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai.
The list comprises 37 LifeKen Stores, 11 Pill and Powder Stores and 7 Spencer's Stores in Bangalore. 15 LifeKen Stores, 6 Pill and Powder Stores and 2 Spencer's Stores in Chennai. We have 4 LifeKen Stores in Mumbai.
More stores are scheduled to open in these two cities shortly. LifeKen is actively pursuing the opening of its Retail Pharmaceutical Chain in the cities of Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Kochi. Plans are on the anvil to expand to other cities in the South and West and thereafter to the North and East. |
